WarioWare Touched! was definitely a superb title for the Nintendo DS when it came out a while ago. After continuously beating the minigames countlessly, I thought there would be no good games for the DS which would be released anytime soon. After a long hiatus, this is no more. Meteos lives up as a worthy title for the DS in terms of single and multiplayer aspects. Bomberman DS is also worth looking for those who know 7 other people who own a DS for some wild multiplayer action. I have also updated the about page a bit.

Here's a funny flash movie for those who are familar with many game consoles made. It's even better for those of you who played the US version of Final Fantasy 3. The first 1/3 of the movie has a good story line, but the movie itself lasts about 30 mins.

I played WipEout Pure over the weekend, pretty nice for a racing game on a handheld. Too bad the PSP is freaking expensive. If anybody would like to help and get me one, you might get one as well in the process, sign up for the Free PSP website. I just need 5 referals! :)

Well not really an update, just something that might affect the future of this site. I am taking a database class, which also involves some SQL. Perhaps if i'm lucky, i'll learn enough to implement better SQL features on this site like a reliable forum. For some reason when I install a working cgi forum, it gets nuked after a few months. Maybe it's because nobody besides me make posts in the first place.

Interesting flash game, so far my record is 1886.16m.

This game is so addicting, very good for testing your reflexes and such. It utilizes the dual screens and stylus pens very well. Too bad the game may get old fast after you play the mini games several times. They should use games like this for conducting IQ and other related tests. The DS rocks, hope more good games come out for it.

Looks like i'll be getting a Nintendo DS soon to entertain myself from the constant bordem I often experience. It looks pretty cool, nice features, and has awesome potential to be a killer handheld console. So far I plan on getting Warioware Touched! and Mr. Driller with the DS. I really hope some good games come out for this thing, since the Gamecube releases seemed less than spectacular. I kind of regret buying my Gamecube and games because I never played much of them. In other news, my new Geforce 5900 FX rocks! More reviews on the hardware and games later.

I can honestly say that the rate of good games has been at a decline over the past few years. There might be 1-2 games that come out each year now that I would actually play for an extended amount of time. MMORPGS seem boring now too, it's the same routine. It becomes an excruciating grind where all you do is kill a monster, pick up the drops, rinse and repeat. Maybe some PKing here and there but theres nothing special. Shoot em up games like CS, or any other type for that matter is the same thing, only there are different graphics. Somebody please invent a new genre of games otherwise I might have to quit gaming all together and find another hobby! At any rate, I am looking forward to Advent Children to come out sometime soon hopefully.
