UPS are pricks, they had my package in Seattle for 2 days now and they refuse to deliver it until scheduled delivery date. I mean what the hell? They are just wasting their own storage space and my waiting time, it doesn't make any sense. That said, this will probably be the last update of the year. See you all next year!

Update: Thier ground map chart says the package is supposed to arrive here in 5 days. Since it's only been 4 days and the package IS already in their local facility, that makes sense... Hope they don't count new years eve as a holiday.

Okay according to the UPS tracking system, my package arrived into their Seattle location at 6:06AM today. However, their scheduled delivery says Jan 3, 2003. I hope UPS aren't asses and decide to deliver on the 3rd even though the package is already in the city, that would just be 4 wasted days.

Playing board games nowadays for me is rare, just because I either don't have the time or can't find other people who have the time to play. Since it's still winter break, recently I managed to play a few games of Risk. It's pretty fun, lot of game theory involved of anticipating what's going to happen. I need to find a book or something on the art of dice rolling. That would be pretty cool if I could always roll high numbers on demand. Hell if I had that kind of skill, i'd be in Vegas!

I got bored and decided to play some War 3. I managed to beat the insane difficulty level computer on Plunder Isle in about 15 minutes.

Ok so my package gets shipped out at 11:39PM EST from Ohio, meaning it won't arrive until Janurary 3 according to their estimate. Woohoo it takes another damn week for me to get my stuff! So far in the 9 hours UPS was in possesion with my package, they traveled 1 state from Ohio to Indiana. For those who need a geography lesson, take a look at how long this distance is. Moral of this lesson is to never ship anything important through UPS unless you have all the time in the world.

Update: Ok they shipped the package out this morning, so it took 7 days. Now it's time to deal with how long UPS will take. With my luck, I know I won't get my stuff until next week at earliest. Stupid tracking number still isn't in their system yet. Watch them ship it from New York or something, then I won't get it til next Friday :(

Let's take Bestbuy for example. I order something from their site on the 19th, though they stated it was the 20th (Friday) because they track it as Eastern time. The item is supposed to leave their warehouse in 2-3 days, instead it will leave in 7-8 days or maybe more. 7-8 days is NOT 2-3 days! It's 2-3 days when they feel like working (no holidays or weekends). Then sometimes you add a day or two because they are lazy or "too busy". So Friday is a day, Saturday and Sunday are not days since they are a weekend, Monday is a day, Tuesday is a lazy day since its Christmas Eve, Wednesday is not a day since it's Christmas, and Thursday is a day if i'm lucky. Then there's the delivery carrier, UPS, which is just as bad because they take forever to deliver. UPS sucks! Stupid slow a**holes, especially if the package is being shipped from Eastern part of the states. It takes a week and a half then to get anything over here.

I would order the item directly and walk into their B&M store but this item is so rare that it's only avaliable for delivery from the warehouse. Let's just say I have gotten through a lot of trouble trying to get this thing into my hands.

Christmas has passed and its already Thursday. Time is flying by too quickly, have to go back to school soon too.

AT&T sent me a free new SURFboard Motorola cable modem today. For some reason they wanted me to upgrade what I have. I probably won't be upgrading it anytime soon due to paranoia. The one that I am using isn't giving me much trouble since I get "decent solid speeds". I just feel that if unnecessarily I upgraded, problems may occur as do often happen when I upgrade software sometimes. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Saw a double feature, talk about killing two birds with one stone. In the case of today, two films with one ticket price. Managed to get great seats for both of these, actually I sat roughly around the same area for both of the showings. It's amazing how movie theaters are almost empty in the morning, saw Chamber of Secrets as the first film at 11:00AM and the room was pratically empty. Then again this movie has been out for quite some time so that might have something to do with it also. The opposite for LOTR happened though, went to see it at 4PM and it was a full house. Some retard maybe less than halfway through the movie left his cellphone ringing 8 times or so. Then some guy yelled shut up and he instantly turned his phone off. Ruined the movie a bit, atleast he wasn't talking on it. The movie itself was great though, lot of action and special effects. When I watched the 2nd one, I forgot a lot of what happened from the first so it took me a while to jump back on what happened before in the storyline. Overall I spent around 8 hours hanging around a movie theater today.

So I decided to convert my page into something more interesting than it's previous state of oblivion. Took me a while to think of a designable layout and an idea of what the page should be about. Then I figure, might as well make it my own page of me rambling about my life since I have nothing better to make out of it. The layout is almost finished, but I hope to beautify it as much as possible to make it more appealing.
