A 1 vs 1 Game

There hasn't been many 1v1 games being posted, so I guess this will be a starter. This game was against HumanTrash.

First attacks

I must say this game was very interesting because my town was constantly attacked, mainly by the enemy's hero blademaster. Every other minute, he would send out his hero to attack something in my base and used the windwalk skill to escape, then would attack again, rinse and repeat. After about a forth attempt or so with his hero attack, he promptly sent out his army of grunts and a catapult or two to the town for another assult. In the game he managed to destroy a barrack and spirit louge, but were expendable. Its funny how my buildings were his primary targets rather than my army when he brought out his army, probably because he thought I was a n00b. In his eyes, I only had a small town with almost nothing, but I expanded and hid some buildings outside my town since I knew he wasn't going to scout since my "main" town didn't have much. If you look at the replay you can see how persistant the attacks on my side were.

So who has the advantage?

My tactic was to build somewhat defensivly, moderate upgrades, creep hunt, and expand. HumanTrash's was to straight forward keep on attacking my town. Attacking a town is not a bad idea, but one must have a decent army and a pumped up hero to make it effective. Speaking of which, It's also funny how HumanTrash's hero got NO experince at all :)
