This 1 on 1 game looked like an even match, both players rated as "level 3". Here we'll take a look at an example of a rush vs rush game versus these races.
The game starts out with both players heroes going out into the center. At the time I only had a demon hunter versus his Archmage and few footmen. I decided to manaburn him a few times and run back to town since I didn't have an army yet. He then proceeds with what he has and decicdes to attack my base. With the aid of moonwells, I was able to stay alive long enough to get a bunch of huntresses out and start a counter attack after his retreat.
Note that Huntresses take longer to bring out than footmen since they are more expensive and have a longer build time. With these kind of early rushes, it probably depends on the skill of a player on which race works better. I seen games where top players managed to win with only footmen versus huntresses.
Another interesting note is that I killed his hero 5 times in under 10 minutes. He almost got mines once though, it was at 17 life in the end game running away in fear from a footman :)
