4v4 Bundys vs StoneCutters
By CloudMog Lordaeron 2v2 Ladder (USwest) - August 2, 2002

Some may probably think that a 4 vs 4 game is just a more intense version of 3v3, which is what Al, Buck the talking monkey dog, and I normally play in matches. Well, it sure seems that way, tactics are very similar but more complexed. This is probably the first game the Bundys had for a 4v4 match, which also featured a guest apperance from Homer J Simpson. Doh!

Drawing the first Town Portal

The first battle was initiated by the StoneCutters about 7 minutes into the game attacking Buck's town. Early rushes are generally effective if the enemy is unorganized in sticking toghther, newbies, or are just slow builders. Likewise for the attacker, one must have a decent army and attack as a group. If for some reason your attack was ineffective and the oponent still has a good enough army, they can counter attack you and probably destroy you since you no longer have an army. In this battle, we barely managed to fend off their attack, leaving Buck's town in almost shambles.

Counterattack

Soon after the enemy's second attack on Buck again, we decided to launch an attack on the enemy by scouting out 11:00. This location was a bad place to do so because it was guarded by the purple undead. Not only is the undead a creepy place to attack, but its Ziggurats and Black Citadel are good defensive structures. It is always good to start out attacking the weakest defensive town and just build up from there. So we went to 10:00 to attack the green night elves. Our attack managed to pratically kill green, badly damaged the pink night elves, and humans.

Conclusion

A good match was played with lots of teamwork and action involved. It also probably meant Al not yelling "Awww, fuck you monkey." across the room and smacking him this game either since team Bundy pulled off a win. This was also an experimental match to develop new tactics since Al used humans and wanted to play with tanks. Homewise, Buck got raped the most probably because hes a dog, Homer was touched here and there, and the enemy never set foot in either Al or my town because his stinky feet kept them away. Luckly we didn't build any towers in our towns, that would of been a waste of resources which could be put to better use :)
